These conditions are often caused by a bony abnormality. These can be addressed in a variety of ways including removing bone or repositioning it. In the matatarsal area a Weil osteotomy or a variant of it can be very helpful. In some cases where bone surgery is not acceptable then long term relief from corns can often be obtained by electrocaute.
